Industries suffer with pandemic caused restrictions
EMVA starts Survey on COVID-19 Impact

The COVID-19 pandemic will without doubt leave its mark in the wider economy and subsequently also the machine vision industry. It is the intention of the EMVA to maximize the dialog with its members and all other industry players to provide best possible assistance and information in this difficult situation.
Just yesterday the EMVA has started the survey 'COVID-19 Impacts on the Machine Vision Industry'  which is part of the efforts aiming to analyze the effects of the Corona pandemic on the machine vision industry and elaborate which additional useful tools an association such as the EMVA could provide to help the industry.

Please spent 5-10 minutes and participate anonymously at SURVEY

XIMEA  -  Cinematography camera with swappable sensors

Image

With the increasing competition in the cinema camera market, the focus of Octopus is to fill the gaps in specialist requirements. For instance, native monochrome sensor imaging and a fully open SDK to extend and embed custom behavior in the camera.

Black and white cinematography is a powerful medium which is gaining a resurgence as of late.
The native monochrome sensors provide resolving power and sensitivity noticeably beyond their colour counterparts.
Fine detail in shots is preserved with no moiré or artifacts artefacts at all – even when pixel peeping. Read more ›
